Amrita Tandon Art

In this work, I draw on my Indian heritage, in which the word ‘Hari’ not only means God, but also green. The colour symbolises the Earth, nature, growth and rejuvenation. The gold represents human veneration of the divine. It is illuminating, sacred, durable and incorruptible. The circle is the Cosmos—the entirety of our collective consciousness—pulsing outwards, seeking further connection and greater meaning.
