Amrita Tandon Art

The ever-changing hues of the sea, the lichen encrusted rocks and the shingled cove near my home in Stanley were the influence behind this diptych. I used an intuitive approach to explore organic forms and investigate the process of growth and regeneration to create a visual dialogue with the viewer. As in nature, the negative space too reveals glimpses of its history through underlying layers of paint.
