Part of the Gia Series, this painting translates the imagery of water-filled rock depressions, smoothed sea pebbles, and shifting marine life into bold abstract forms. It is created directly on raw, unprimed canvas. By leaving the fabric raw, the fluid pigments soak deep into the natural canvas fibres, creating stunning translucent, watercolour-like layers. Overlapping shapes in rich emerald greens, deep ocean blues, bright yellows, and earth-toned terracotta reds cluster beautifully across the neutral background.
